Icel s.r.l., founded in 1960, produces plastic film capacitors, R-C networks and interference suppressors. Thanks to its high automation level, Icel manufactures components with many different available executions and foreseen applications, covering a wide range of needs in the electronic and electrotechnic professional field. Icel products are typically used for motor running, power electronics, medical and industrial equipments, traction drives, UPS, SMPS and telecommunication equipments.

Specialized in the design and production of custom components and capacitors having a high technologic and qualitative content, Icel exports more than 50% of its total production all over the world, in particular in U.S.A., European markets, Taiwan, China and Corea. Icel products are in conformity with international standards and normative and some series are approved by certification institutes as IMQ, VDE, SEV, UL, CSA. The increase of demand of high quality products and services from the market, induce Icel to a constant betterment of its products, updating and increasing its production capability, adding new and technologically advanced machineries, constantly monitoring and bettering processes and adopting a flexible and efficient organization and a quality assurance system in conformity with UNI EN ISO 9000 normative.

Icel quality assurance system is certified by DNV in accordance with UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 normative. Icel group, based in Castellanza (Va), at north of Milano, presently includes also Vematron s.r.l. (distributor of electric and electro-mechanic components, testing and measuring instruments and production accessories) and Tecna s.a.s. (specialized in automation, design and production of custom manufacturing machines and testing equipment).
